Big scandal at IBB Social Services

 

 Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Social Services Directorate has become the scene of a new scandal.

Is this the idea of a social state or a social Municipality ?

A complete disgrace is taking place in the Department of social services, where citizens in need of social assistance and with disabilities receive services. Under the umbrella of IBB ,a Social Services Center was established to fulfill the responsibility of social Municipality. Although it has been established, the issue of how it is operated is problematic and a complete disgrace. If you complete the desired documents, they will take you to the waiting area this time. But if you got out very, very early in the morning and got a sequence number, you're really lucky.

And inside, there is a sneaky mess. Everyone is stuck and social distance rules are not followed. Officials are not warning citizens in any way, but just watching.

Most of those who apply to the Social Services Center are disabled citizens and victims. There are no ambulances, paramedics, who should be present in emergency situations.

Although it has been repeatedly reported to the IBB authorities that the practice experienced and experienced is not Humanitarian, the common answer given is ‘your complaint has been recorded’

There is no answer or action.

We ask……

1) is this the understanding of the Social state or social Municipality ?

2) will bureaucrats find a solution to this situation?

3) failure to comply with the rules of social distance in the pandemic process, and who will account for this when any citizen there gets infected with the virus?
