A Pleasant Interview With Nazli Demircioglu, The Name That Comes to Mind When It Comes to Diction

Taner Özgür, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vizyon Media Group, conducted a pleasant interview with Nazlı Demircioğlu, the name that comes to mind when it comes to Beautiful and effective speech diction.


Taner Özgür: How would you describe Nazlı Demircioğlu?


 Nazli Demircioglu: A determined girl who always keeps the joy of life alive, stands on her own two, is in love with her profession, breaks off what she holds, works tirelessly.. He is known as a headstrong but compassionate, good observer and analyst, witty, doing what he thinks, inaccessible and harsh in the family and close circle, and on the contrary, quite modest, courageous and kind.



Taner Özgür: How do you evaluate that diction education has been spreading around the world recently?


 Nazlı Demircioğlu: Nowadays, it is not enough just to communicate because we are now in the age of effective communication. In this world of communication, which is lost by those who cannot influence, convince, convince, focus their attention, it is no longer just the sender – receiver – source – code – return, etc. the terms rather than only understanding of code between the sender and the receiver, as well as remarkable, persuasive, convincing, and especially impressive to be increasingly competitive in the evolving new order that requires them to be turned into a case of unwritten rules.




Taner Özgür: Is diction education sufficient in our country? Is it necessary to take part in the education system?


Nazlı Demircioğlu: When diction is mentioned, a general definition comes to mind, such as saying the words correctly, paying attention to intonation and emphasis, using gestures and facial expressions on the spot. If a person has an arrogant, dissatisfied, heartbreaking and constantly critical style, that person will only have spoken in accordance with the theoretical rules. Let's leave aside the theoretical part of the work.


First of all, it is very important where, when, why, HOW you tell the topic, rather than why we tell it. Here it is right here as a nuance, but the Style, which is a maximally important term in terms of impact, can make you a disgrace, a vizier. We have a very big stylistic problem in our country. Quarrels, crimes, injustices, etc. The main basis of the problems is also caused by the use of the wrong style. Therefore, starting diction education from childhood, reflecting on similar behaviors that children have witnessed in the family and their peers as a negative example, again brings with it peer bullying.




Taner Özgür: You have been providing trainings in many fields for many years, have you had any difficulties?


Nazli Decioglu: One of the most common difficulties I have is to make people accept the difference between the written language and the spoken language. Because there has been a habitual way of speaking, even if it has been wrong for many years. Another difficulty that I encounter most often is the problem of self-confidence. People have power and potential in them that even they themselves do not realize. But they can't get out of the glass ceiling syndrome quickly to be confident.



Taner Özgür: You have competitors in many areas, especially diction training, including TV presenters! What do you think makes them prefer you in this field?


Nazlı Demircioğlu: It is said that my trainings were very fun and that I added great awareness to the inner world of my students. I've never gone to any of my classes just to tell a diction lesson.


As my course is problem oriented and solution oriented, my students are always prepared and alert in the face of positive or negative situations/people that may be encountered in any environment and conditions, they may prefer me in this field because I have trained my students to express themselves in the best way so that they are always prepared and alert.




Taner Özgür: Would you like to get to know us a little more ?


Nazlı Demircioğlu: I was born on February 8, 1991 in Bursa. I started my life Special primary school education in Bursa Cakir, Bursa Republic Anatolian High School and then after my undergraduate education, Istanbul Arel University, Faculty of communication, radio, television and cinema department, also my graduate education at Istanbul Arel University, Faculty of social sciences, media and cultural studies by the Section, “1 November 2015 Election propaganda activities in the context of representations of gender” by typing my thesis on literature I managed to.


During my personal and professional education periods, I took private lessons from very valuable and important names such as Gülgun Feyman, Mehpare Çelik, Attila Sarıkayali, Sibel Savacı, Cihan Ünal, Rüştü Asiyan, Müge Orückap, Göksenin Uçarer Kaya. I started my working life as a reporter at the TV8 Main News Center in 2013. After working as a News Editor, News Performer and Prompter Operator at various mainstream media channels and many more, he participated in the 2nd Documentary Film Festival 1001 in 2014.i took on the role of set supervisor in our documentary where we received this award. in 2016, I continued my live broadcast of the program “Spot Predictions” as a sports commentator on BJK TV.


in 2017, I worked for Türk Telekom and Türk Telekom Survivor, Akbank, and Atasay as a Creative Creative Writer at TBWA/Istanbul advertising agency. i started my Coaching career in 2018. In addition to Diction, Announcer, Presenter, Advertising Voice-over and Dubbing instructor, I provide special, corporate and political consultancy such as Elegance, Etiquette/Etiquette, Protocol Etiquette, Stage and Microphone Dominance / Podium/Conference Speech Coaching, Stage Excitement Control.


Taner Özgür: What is your biggest dream?


Nazli Demircioglu: My dreams don't have a big or a small one, because the dreams I make are actually goals for me. I continue to fulfill many of my dreams. Because the share of the realization of your dreams depends on the utopian criterion of your wishes. Dear, my father always had a saying that I made earrings in my ear. “You keep your job for the winter, and you'll be lucky if the summer comes.” And I promise myself that I will achieve many successes, because I am always on the alert during the zeal phase, believing in myself.”


Taner Özgür : How do you evaluate your free time?


Nazli Demircioglu : I am a workaholic. And my major (which is diction, kindness, grace, gusto create, etiquette, protocol, etiquette, etc.) in my chosen profession, my lifestyle and my upbringing is empty since my childhood when we say that because it is already in the zone more about how I could improve myself as a professional readings, studies and academic reviews, I'll do. In addition, if you are doing this profession, you have to appeal to the eye as much as you appeal to the ear. For this reason, I take personal care, which is my weekly routine, every time I am free, and I evaluate my time efficiently during my working days.


 


Taner Özgür : What are the things you like to do?


Nazli Demircioglu : I really like to drive and make long trips. I really like to do makeup and go shopping. And what I enjoy most is having long conversations with people who can add something to me, take advantage of their experience.


Taner Özgür: Can you tell us a little about the training called Reputation Coaching?


Nazlı Demircioğlu: Reputation Coaching is actually a perception management. To a certain extent, people have the limit of controlling what they see in us by themselves to a certain extent, and therefore what people think can of course be managed to a certain extent. In short, Reputation Management; for those who work personally or corporately; customers, investors, shareholders, etc. it includes the activities of controlling and directing the thoughts, information and emotional reactions of such groups belonging to your organizations.


 


Taner Özgür : Do you offer Consulting Services to Politicians? Who are the politicians you work with, what kind of experience have you had?


Nazlı Demircioğlu: I will not be able to answer this question because I have never seen the political environment as an advertising medium. It is always my principle to ensure that the identities of many politicians whom I provide advice to professionally and many of my valuable clients who have appeared in this community remain confidential under all circumstances.
